Nerfbat: Recently Added Links

I’ve added quite a few links in the past month or so, as you may be able to tell from the massive link section. I also removed a few, demoted one or two to The Void or complete absence from my links list, and even pulled one or two out of The Void and back to the normal link list. Check out the sites that have been added to the Nerfbat list of ultimately cool game links recently:

MMO Critic: Quite possibly my favorite site that I’ve added recently, because the site is really cleanly designed. It covers a combination of commentary and gaming news very well.

WorldIV: The blog of a small group of friends who are slowly trying to put together their ideas about games into a solid MMO.

Wondrous Inventions: The ramblings of a crazed gnome named called Wizzel Cogcarrier Wizzleton IV. I have to copy/paste that all the time.

West Karana: Tipa Tangleweed writes about various MMOs.

Lost Garden: One of those rare hybrid sites that writes not only about game design, but also art.

The Forge: A blog on virtual worlds, games, and digital content, from Matt Mihaly, CEO of Iron Realms Entertainment.

planet rome.ro: The thoughts of industry giant John Romero. I don’t know how the heck I’d never seen this one before.

Existential Worlds: Cyndre has opinions about games and stuff.

JZigishness: The blog of Cryptic programmer Ben Zeigler.

PlayNoEvil: A site about game security, cheating, gold farming, and random IT related stuff.

OGX: A smart new gaming news and article website. Grimwell is over here somewhere.

Darniaq: A lot of good commentary about–you guessed it–MMOs here.

Sierra Kilo: Lots of good opinions and ideas here. The only thing I don’t like about it? That creepy webcam!

The noob: A hilarious webcomic I only recently found out about. It begins in a world very reminiscent of The Realm (one of my old favorites) and continues through various areas similar to other MMOs. Good stuff here.

My 2 Copper: A brand new one that has a freaking sweet domain name. One to watch.

Okay, that was a whole lotta links, so maybe it’s been more like 3 months of link gathering. More sexy goodness from me in the coming weeks. I’ve actually been busy again lately, which is the wonderful excuse I’ll go ahead and use for not posting a rant in the past week or so.
