Curt Schilling’s Official Blog
Curt Schilling has his own blog! That’s right, the near-infamously outspoken Boston Red Sox pitcher, 38 Studios founder, philanthropist, and all-around nice guy has a blog. The blog is called 38 Pitches, and so far has a single (long) entry, but I suspect you’ll see a heck of a lot of commentary on his part given Curt’s nature to speak out. As much as it looks like I’m kissing ass with the first part, I believe all that stuff myself, plus I had to link to the blog because it was up to me to get the thing set up.
Hi, I heard that you’re the one who setup Curt’s blog. I guess this post verifies that. I just wanted to let you know that the timestamp on a post I made over there at 4:45 PM EST was marked as 2:45 AM. Seems like someone forgot to put the “-” before the 5 in the hour offset for the blog options so that it’s doing a +5 offset from Zulu instead of -5.
With the passing of a close personal friend to Curt, I’m guessing he’s going to be too distracted/busy to deal with it and if you had access, you could do it yourself. Just figured I’d pass that on.
Nice looking blog here too. I may stop back in occassionally to read up on 38 Studios and your thoughts on MMORPGs (I currently play DAoC myself). Thanks for reading.

Ryan, please tell Curt that the best way to lose an audience is to focus on the trolls and ignore the readers and fans. He has a really great start going but he spends every minute responding to the 1% of his commenters who flame the hell out of him.
I don’t think anyone expects him to respond to the inquiries about 38 Studios secrets and internal Red Sox team politics, but there are a wealth of good questions to address and would generate a lot of interest and comminuty feel to spend his time on those rather than the “Shut up and pitch” trolls.
Mr. Schilling: your tribute to ‘Vuk’ absolutely captured the man. My husband (minor league, lefty, played for several years with ‘VuK’. I am still in such a sense of shock. John did so much to make baseball the class game it was and will be again. I have no doubt VUK or ‘GODFATHER’asmy daughter called him. His eyes lit up whenever she called him, or he
came over and he was greeted with ‘GODFATHERS HERE’ with such love and she was only one. We were fortunate to know him from 1968 and then along came that beautiful creature he eventually married. Then Mrs Nikki, Vince and those grandaughters. We went to their reception in Sutter
Creek. As our last name is KNutson, it was funny to hear it even said. Everyone in Sutter Creek is some sort of —-vich.God is going to have his hands full, but HEAVEN will even be a better place. GONE WAY TOO SOON!

I read where your homes in Arizona are for sale and you plan on living in Ma. full time, to help your charities and settle in the area. Is this the case even if the Sox continue to disrespect you and don’t sign you?
When they want their own way, its business! We have lost loyalty in sports. You came to Btown and exclaimed” to win the series and brake the curse.” You also stated you loved to shut up 50,000 yankee fans, in my book your the man!! No matter what any Sox fan thinks about you personally they are in your debt to you until they die, I am.
Bronson another great guy who was a true Bostonian at heart and was a yankee killer as well. He performed well against the evil empire and in the stadium as well, took less money, melted into the community. They kicked him out, and now he is the number one elsewhere, eating up innings and didn’t even get a thank you. Theo is cold blooded and stubborn. I have nothing against Dustin but he can’t cut it, give me Loretta, another soldier and gentleman sent packing!! They don’t get it, even the yankees are doing it, to Bernie, and they have always been loyal to their players. The die has been cast, it is an ugly world.

I am a true Yankee fan but my hats off to the Red Sox for having a great year. Even though I am A yankee Fan I can admit to who was the best team last year.In saying that I wish Schilling would keeep his big mouth shut !!! Im so tired of his opinions they are like a-holes everybody has one. And schilling is the biggest a-hole of them all. He has the right of course to say what he wants. But if he is this big rah rah american did he forget that it is after all presumed innocent untill proven guilty. Hey schill do us all a favor shut the fck up and just go out and do your job.
Alternatively, you could avoid typing in http://www.38pitches.com, hitting enter (or return, as the case may be), and reading the opinions of Mr. Schilling.
