Toys 4 Troops
Troops play RPGs too, and they even have their own Con! The Ziggurat Con is a role-playing convention that will take place in Iraq on June 9, 2007. It will be held at Tallil Airbase and Camp Adder with role-playing games in the ping pong room and anime in the movie room. Very cool, and they need your support! Head over to Toys 4 Troops to find out more information about it.

I keep getting emails from troops over at Bobs messageboard, and most recently, a sargeant posted over in Iraq who loves his books (Drizzt, of course). I ended up getting in contact with some of the folks over at Wizards of the Coast and forwarding some messages along, as the troops over there only have a handful of books, and they are always looking for more people to donate and help em out.
Not sure what has become of it yet, or if anything will at all, but the guys over there deserve all the fun they can get!
That’s awesome. I often feel bad for the people over there on their tours of duty. In addition to being hot, dangerous, and uncomfortable, I hear it’s also pretty boring a lot of the time.
Respect to all service men and women.
My guild leaders husband is currently over in the Middle East on a tour of Duty, I hope he gets a chance to see this
