Road to WAR
I’ve made no secret that I’m looking forward to checking out Warhammer Online. I have the game pre-ordered for in-store pickup and I’m a member of a wish-we-were-still-hardcore casual guild called Casualties of WAR. Mythic recently launched a fun little site called Road to WAR in which players acquire real life territories for gold and power. If you join, enter my email address so I get some gold (rshwayder [you know what goes here] gmail [backwards tod] com).
These embeddable objects also give me gold if you sign up after clicking them. Yay.
I refuse to help you get more gold…. you goldfarmer. :/
Either way, I’m a sucker for viral marketing. WB’s TDK stuff made me happy in the pants many times.

Glad to know your looking forward to Warhammer Online which is why I was a bit surprised that it did not even get a mention in Massive Guys on Massive Games: Episode #5 which looked at PvP in MMO’s. This is the first game that really has me excited about playing PvP. I am a PvE guy from way back when EQ released. Sure WoW has battlegrounds and its done really well, but Warhammer for me appears to be a much more meaningful and encompassing implantation that could be a huge hit.
Hmm? We talked about WAR in it. Briefly, but it was in there.
