Nice grab, Ryan! I actually did some writing for Mentor Media on this thing back when it was first getting started (there’s probably still some of my Warlock stuff in there somewhere).
I’ve always thought that was a great idea…any plans on extending it to other games?
I can’t say anything that isn’t in the press release. You can go ahead and start making assumptions instead. Love, Ryan.
Grats – never found that site helpful for my own travels, but I’m sure many folks could benefit. I recall looking at this before one time (I think Curt did a interview/ podcast with them of some sort?) and I’d hope/ suggest 38 find an alternate way to enter character information, rather than installing an .exe. Pre-armory that method made sense, but now that sort of thing is a relic of the past (and paranoid folks like me just won’t go for that with all the key loggers out there.) Now, if the .exe actually logged people’s spell rotations, DPS/ threat monitoring, death counts, etc, then maybe… (Though, add-ons in WOW can capture all that, and they aren’t executables.)
And I think it’s pretty easy to assume they’ll find a way to apply this to WAR, since so many of them are playing the game. Just don’t let the advice writing get in the way of Copernicus please!

Okay, that’s pretty cool… that video is bizarre and oddly hilarious.
Assumptions, yay! So wait, Copernicus will feature cyborgs?? Awesome!!!
