Grumpy Holidays!
Everyone have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and happy any-other-holiday you celebrate. I just checked into my United flight for tomorrow morning (which will hopefully go out relatively on time). $1700 for the economy tickets and $24 for checked bags (they charge $12 for ONE now) later, the wife and I will be off to Colorado until early January. Way to kick-start grumpy holidays by tacking on additional expense, United… that $1700 wasn’t enough, apparently.

Have a Happy Christmas anyways, and don’t worry, that $1700 will seem like spare change when the airlines line up behind the big 3 automakers.
