Who needs curve? I get the least amount of heel curve I can find and make sure it's a closed blade. I like keeping my slapshots low. I need a new board though... I used to practice with one in the garage that was exactly the height of the widest goalie pads so I could slapshot just above it (hard to save because they can't use their pads and have trouble getting their hands in the way right there). I wish I was in the Boston area so I'd have a catalyst like this to kick me into lacing up the skates again. Much <3 for playing left wing with my "almost" legal curved Victoriaville setting up the scoring opportunities. I hope you can get enough folks to expand the teams! It sounds like fun. We have a great semi-new ice arena downtown here. I tried to get back into playing a couple years ago, but I just didn't have the time.
