Schilling Retires From Baseball
Curt Schilling, the big man here at 38 Studios, has officially retired from baseball. Congratulations on an amazing career in baseball, and welcome to your full-time career as a game creator. He’s made 38 an incredible place to work even with baseball ever-present in his mind. Now that he’s dedicated fully to his family and the company, I can’t wait to see what happens!

Grats to Curt on a great career! I still remember him spending some time here in the minors (Rochester NY) before hitting the big leagues. Still kind of wild to think some ball player could end up turning his spare time playing Everquest into a start-up company making a MMO.
I feel he’s a lock for the hall, all fanboi-ism aside. Decent regular season stats, but that post-season record of 10-2. He should duel Reggie for the Mr. October title.
BG – Push Curt to do kick-off parties of Copernicus in all the cities where he wore the home team’s colors! It’s pretty well rounded set of cities – Baltimore, Houston, Philly, Phoenix, Boston, and of course Rochester NY! (Heck, make the minor league towns the pre-pre-launch parties!)

I wish Curt all the best but will miss his big mouth on Weei lol. Not sure he will make it into the HoF but that shouldn’t matter.
