She was very different from the first love. She seemed to be a lot deeper, and she was so much prettier. You had to start wearing nicer clothes to even go out with her. What you found out as you really got to know her is that she was a girl of extremes. You had some incredible times and some terrible times. She was a harsh mistress, punishing you for every misstep you made in the relationship. But, she also rewarded the hell out of you for doing the right things at the right times. You’ll always look back at her and remember more of the good times than the bad, but you’ll always know that it wasn’t as good as you remember.
